Looks like FOX studious is coming out with the live Dragonball movie next year. I remember watching the show, Dragonball Z, when I was a kid and I always thought that it would be really cool if they made a real live movie; and now, they’ve made it. However, the trailer shows that the producers kind of overdid the whole setup.

If I’m not mistaken, the movie looks like a mixture of Mortal Kombat and the Lord of the Rings. And I also thought Goku was supposed to be oriental and not a Caucasian. In the trailer I hear familiar quotes like “I’m not ready” and “there’s no time”. Seriously it looks like the same old thing, which similar to the “Forbidden Kingdom” starring Jackie Chan and Jet Li.
James Wong directed the movie; Justin Chatwin will play the main character Goku. Other character such as Lord Piccolo will be played by James Marsters; Emmy Rossum will play Bulma; Jamie Chung will play Chi Chi; and Randall Duk Kim will play Grandpa Gohan.
Let’s hope the movie exceeds our expectations, but anyways check out the official trailer below.
